HONEYSUCKLE.

Pantone has announced that this is gonna be the color of the year. Last year Pantone has PANTONE 15-5519 Turquoise as their color of 2010 which is a combination of the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects of green. This is what Pantone has to say about this new color :
Courageous. Confident. Vital. A brave new color, for a brave new world. Let the bold spirit of Honeysuckle infuse you, lift you and carry you through the year. It’s a color for every day – with nothing “everyday” about it.

VANILLA.

There are so many things i love 'bout the pictures above. One thing because the place belongs to one of my good friends and it is some sort of a florist come event planner. This place called Vanilla Floral Studio and it has all the sweet and awesome stuff. I really love the wallpaper in the first picture. The fact that she uses crates in most part of the interior, that is even more awesome. I really love crates. It can give you some sort of rustic feeling, carefree and it is so versatile. Don't you think so? You guys should also check out Vanilla's work at http://www.vanillafloral.com/, you'll instantly fall in love with them. Happy browsing!

RAINING RAINBOW

My first attempt to do fancy crafty mobile. I have a set of sticker felts I bought from Early Learning Centre (ELC) shop on clearance price months ago. Well, not bad. But i still need to find better way to do this as this one turned out to be a bit rough on the finishing.
I spent about only an hour to do this. If you have spare time on the weekend, please feel free to try this easy craft. The 'ingredients' are felt/art card, wooden stick ( i used branches from my guava tree ), thread, and scissors. Have fun! :D

CALIFORNIA!

California Shrimp Salad for Sunday brunch.
I always love the one from Italiannies restaurant, but to have it every week there is totally gonna make me broke, so i decided to DIY this salad. The ingredients are your favourite salads, slices of mangoes, tangerines, seasoned grill shrimps and orange vinaigrette dressing. (I used balsamic vinaigrette instead). It's so yummies, you can eat it with homemade burgers perhaps, or roasted chicken etc. Bon appetit!
